The Kitchen Manager leads the daily operation of our pubs with a focus on meeting and exceeding our Mission, Core Values & KBDs (MICK). The Kitchen Manager directs the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with Pinthouse standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, guest relations, facilities maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, hiring, termination, development and growth of team members and ensuring that the highest quality products and hospitality are delivered to each and every guest, making their experience great! We achieve this with a focus on people, process and culture.
- Maintain a positive work culture through Focused Feedback and Recognition
- Responsible for all product and service given during shift
- Prepare and execute team member schedules, reviews and development for Back of House team members
- Be the recipe expert. Know your builds down to the measuring utensils needed
- Make sure line schematics are current with seasonal ingredients
- Maintain, execute, sign-off, and audit shift S&P, DCL, write-ups, coaching logs, and recruiting to 100% completion
- Enter invoices properly and in a timely manner
- Amend and lead pre-shift Huddles to disseminate important Pinthouse info
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience
- Culinary degree is a plus!
- Food Manager Certification
- TABC Certification
- Cicerone 1 Certification
